Dollar General - - Responsibilities:
Assist Store Manager in managing the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen foods, bread, and bakery products.;
Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume using planning tools and order guides.;
Train assigned associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing standards, and safe handling of food in compliance with regulations.;
Record Perishable Markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.;
Accurately record inventory levels as requested by the Store Support Center.
