The Bartender is responsible for providing patrons with excellent service promptly and assisting beverage servers with orders to ensure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience.

• Prepare drinks correctly at the bar for patrons and cocktail staff.
• Assist with the cleaning of the bar area and inventory maintenance.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Responsible for performing “responsible alcohol service” concerning patron limitations and passing any/all responsible alcohol service training.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash registers, and Berg beverage system.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to handle high-pressure demands.
• Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.
• Must be available on weekends and holidays.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Bartending experience preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
