Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Paintsville, Kentucky.

- 📌 Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of current ICU experience required
- Charge Nurse experience required (candidate must be comfortable working as Charge RN
)
- 📜 Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH (NIH Stroke Scale certification)
- 👩⚕️ Patient Ratio
- Typical ratio: 1:5 or 1:6
- 💻 EMR System
- Meditech EMR experience preferred (not mandatory but helpful)
- 📍 License Requirement
- Must have Kentucky (KY) RN license
OR a Compact RN license
- Must have Kentucky (KY) RN license
- 🕒 Schedule
- Facilities follow 36/48 schedule for a 2-week pay period
- Example:
Week 1 – 36 hrs - Week 2 – 48 hrs
- 🏥 Other Important Notes
- Ratios may change depending on census, call-ins, etc.
- Orientation occurs every 2 weeks (bi-weekly)
- Start date listed in the job = required start date
- 📏 Distance Requirement
- Traveler must live 100+ miles away from the facility
- ⏱ Submission Requirement
- Assignment confirmation must be uploaded within 24 hours after offer acceptance
