Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics (totals, ORIF, arthroscopy), Laparoscopic procedures, Endoscopy (GI), and select GYN and ENT surgeries.
• Support complex vascular cases including Endarterectomy with stents and patches, aneurysm care, vessel cleaning, and clot removal to ensure vessel patency.
• Assist in patient recovery during call-back situations, particularly in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Maintain certifications and adhere to all safety and clinical protocols during 10-hour shifts, working 40 hours weekly.
• Participate in call rotation, including one shift per week and one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Proven ability to handle a range of surgical cases as described above.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must reside within 100 miles of the facility.

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Call requirement: one shift weekly and one weekend monthly.
