OR Registered Nurse | Paintsville, Kentucky

Location: Paintsville

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Operating Room procedures, specializing in a variety of surgical cases including general OR, vascular surgeries such as endarterectomy with stents and patches, aneurysm repair, and vessel clot removal. Additional expertise in orthopedic surgeries (totals, ORIF, arthroscopy), general surgery, laparoscopic procedures, GI endoscopy, gynecological surgeries, and ENT procedures (including tubes, tonsillectomies, adenoids, thyroid surgeries, and nasal fracture repair) is highly valued.

The role also involves supporting patient recovery in post-anesthesia care during call-back situations.

Key Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current RN licensure with valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years' operating room nursing experience.
• Proficiency in general and specialized surgical procedures as outlined.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Residency within a 100-mile radius of the assignment location.
• Ability to respond to call requirements: one shift per week and one weekend per month.
• Commitment to starting promptly following orientation, which is conducted bi-weekly.

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
• On-call responsibilities as noted.
