We are currently seeking a caring and dynamic individual to join our leadership team and have a direct and positive impact on the lives of our residents, families and staff. The successful candidate will assist in planning, developing, and organizing the day to day functions. Additionally, providing supervision to the nursing staff, while ensuring the quality of nursing care provided to our residents.
NurseSupervisor Qualifications
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Supervise staff in day to day operations
- Function as floor nurse as needed
- Capable of maintaining regular weekend attendance.
- Ability to supervise other employees and work cooperatively to obtain resident care objectives.
- Meet all local health regulations, and complete a post-offer health assessment.
- Supervises night shift staff and ensures quality care is being provided.
- Assists with administrative duties and shift coordination.
- Covers any call-ins until 12:00 AM, after which the administrator on call will assume responsibility.
- Provides support to floor staff as needed and helps resolve shift-related issues
- Current LPN or RN license in the state.
- Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
- At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Matrix Care preferred.
