The Emergency Department (ED) at Spring View Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. This 11‑bed unit ensures patients receive optimal medical attention and support. You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan‑of‑care intervention and serving as a patient‑care innovator.

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

• 1+ years of ER experience preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS & PALS required within 6 months of hire.

• Current RN license in the state of Kentucky
