• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, or via IV and record prescribed medication. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient.
• Respond to life‑saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Utilize time‑management skills.
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.
• Perform other position‑related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting.

• Current LPN or RN license in the state.
• At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a long‑term care setting (preferred).
• Knowledge of Matrix Care (preferred).
