Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring a KY or compact RN license and strong telemetry skills.

• Work in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• Rotating schedule of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
• Floating is required if census is low
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Provide nursing care to patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• Travel pairs are not permitted on this unit
• No local candidates accepted

• Active Kentucky or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
