The Operating Room (OR) Nurse will provide care for patients before, during, and after surgery. They will also educate the patient, circulate nurse and/or scrub nurse, and may serve as RN first assistant or operating room director.

• Provide pre‑operative care and patient education.
• Assist during surgery, performing tasks for the surgeon and circulating nurse.
• Provide post‑operative care, ensuring patient stability and recovery.
• Coordinate with the OR team, including scrub and circulating nurses.
• May act as RN first assistant or operating room director as required.

• Minimum of 1 year of current work experience providing care in an operating room.
• Kentucky State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one.

• BLS
• ACLS
