• Communicating effectively with team members to provide pertinent information and keep them informed.
• Maintaining strong focus on collaboration with excellent communication in all aspects of the business.
• Focusing on continuous improvement to support site quality, costs, productivity, and profitability goals.
• Creating, monitoring, analyzing, managing, and executing daily production schedules.
• Responding efficiently to immediate needs of the site while maintaining the long‑term vision of the site.
• Working with Sales, Operations, and Material Handling to coordinate scheduling activities.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• High level of proficiency using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with MRP/planning software
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing scheduling
• Track record of continual growth and development

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS systems
• Knowledge of quality systems
