Inventory Control Clerk

Inventory Control Clerk:
Maintains all inventory of products. Responsible for recording incoming and outgoing materials and products, inspecting proper labeling, resolving inventory discrepancies, and monitoring reorders and restock requests.

• Conduct frequent cycle counts with blind counting.
• Auto generated cycle counts.
• Consistent empty bin audits.
• Consistent put away/replenishment audits.
• Consistent receiving audits.
• Consistent bin integrity audits.
• 5 or less item counts (pick bins with 5 or less items).
• Bulk counts (previous night's bulk picks).
• Consistent mark out adjustments.
• Consistent out of date adjustments.
• Lots approaching expiration.

• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent personal organization skills.
• Ability to work productively, efficiently and with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, squat, and stoop to accomplish essential job functions.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds.

• Normal for a distribution environment: outside ambient temperature, inside-dry cooler (34°F) and inside-frozen (-20°F).
• Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots and safety harness.
