Take charge of a galvanizing operation where safety, quality, and teamwork keep production flowing and steel protected for decades. Lead operators, coordinate workflow, and ensure every piece leaves the kettle coated, compliant, and customer‑ready.

What you’ll bring:- Previous leadership or team lead experience (required)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing or production processes (preferred)
- Ability to stand for full shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
- Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
- A lead‑by‑example mindset with a focus on safety
- Dependability in a fast‑paced production environment
- Lead, train, and support a team of two galvanizing operators during daily operations
- Coordinate workflow and prioritize jobs to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Ensure all galvanizing processes meet quality, safety, and production standards
- Monitor equipment performance, material flow, and bath conditions; elevate issues as needed
- Perform routine quality checks and address defects or rework immediately
- Enforce safety procedures, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards
- Communicate production status, downtime, and improvement opportunities to management
- Maintain an organized work area and support continuous improvement initiatives
