MISSION/

SUMMARY:

Neff Packaging Solutions is currently seeking an off-shift Production Supervisor.

The right candidate for this position must have ‘change agent’ qualities that support rapid implementation of process changes, targeting higher production efficiencies with the safety of our employees and quality of our products at the forefront. This position is responsible for adherence to company policies, and implementing initiatives that include employee communication, performance management, and a variety of other activities.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Leading manufacturing improvement
• Ensures all raw materials, supplies and parts are available to meet production demand
• Ensures planned KPI’s are met for departments and if not then follows up on any countermeasures that need implemented
• Training and leadership of employees in a participative, continuous improvement environment
• Shift production management in a high-speed manufacturing facility
• Support scheduling and inventory directives
• Coordination of maintenance activities and schedules
• Product quality standards
• Safety process management
• Productivity management and process improvement
• Supervisor training and leadership

• Must have 3-5 years management/technical experience with Folding Cartons (printing, cutting, and gluing, etc.) required
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or similar discipline preferred, or compensatory closely related work experience in lieu of degree
• 5-7 years supervisory/leadership experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of LEAN manufacturing processes
• Excellent, highly developed people and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic Spanish is a plus

• Night shift including some weekends and flexibility for alternate schedules as needed
• Must be able to respond to issues on all shifts to support supervisors if needed

• Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time up to 12 hours
• Reading of computer screen or other electronic devices
• Use of various office and production hand and electrical tools
