Champion Builders - Production Workers . Day Shift

Job Description

Champion Home Builders is hiring Production Workers for day shift only. The new starting wage is $16.50 per hour, with the possibility of higher pay based on current skillset.

The company offers a bonus program, medical/dental/vision insurance, paid holidays, paid vacations, and a 401(k) plan. Although experience in areas like electrical, sanding, mudding, painting, roofing, framing, and finish carpentry is preferred, the company is willing to train the right individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform manual labor in the assigned area.
• Keep the area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
• Communicate well with coworkers.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Qualifications:

• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.

Physical Demands: The employee must be able to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must frequently walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
