Mazak Machine Operator - Walton, KY

A Japanese Manufacturing company specializing in automotive production line design is currently looking for a full time, fully onsite experienced Mazak Machine Operator to join their Walton, KY location.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-face Mazak machining centers. DOE and skills, this pay range for this position could go up to 62k. This position also includes benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, 401k, PTO and opportunities for advancement.

• Set up, operate, and maintain Mazak CNC machines, including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-face machining centers
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files
• Program and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and product quality
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on Mazak machines
• Conduct quality control checks on machined parts
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Train and mentor junior operators as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating Mazak CNC machines, particularly 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-face machining centers
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD files
• Knowledge of G-code programming and Mazatrol conversational programming
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control procedures
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
