Job Title: Distribution Manager

Reports to: Market & Distribution Director

Job Summary:

The Distribution Manager oversees daily beef sales operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and delivery logistics. This hands‑on role requires strong organizational skills, tech proficiency with Shopify, and the ability to work independently while ensuring effective communication with Market Associates and Manager.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics

Partner with the Market & Distribution Director to oversee daily beef sales operations.

Lead packing and distribution tasks, including overseeing and printing orders from Shopify POS, packing orders in our barn warehouse, scheduling weekly UPS pickups, and packing orders with sustainable materials.

Coordinate delivery routes and logistics for retail, wholesale, and direct‑to‑consumer customers on a weekly basis

Invoicing and coordinating weekly wholesale orders with partners.

Assist with making and packaging of value added items including, but not limited to, Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, Beef Tallow, Liver Dust, Bone Broth, etc.

Oversee that the distribution areas related to packaging product and storing product are up to the current Health Codes and kept clean/tidy.

Manage  orders through Shopify POS, including fulfilling orders, adjusting delivery dates, overseeing substitutions, and managing subscriptions.

Perform regular inventory counts and organize stock in the freezer, at a minimum monthly.

Liaise with wholesale accounts, ensuring seamless delivery to partners like Rainbow Blossom and restaurants.

Deliveries & Distribution

Overseeing Foxhollow’s Delivery schedule and communications with customers

Ensuring timely delivery of all products

Maintain and track Sprinter Van condition, scheduling maintenance as needed.

On the ground contact & liaison for all Market deliveries and scheduled pick ups for all carriers.

Van Rental Management

Oversee the Van rental schedule and work with Business Manager to ensure schedule is accurate and up to date

On the ground contact for all approved renters.

Conduct pre and post van rental inspections and communicate any issues with Business Manager

Skills & Requirements

Collaborative – Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and collaborate with others.

Tech Savvy – Ability and willingness to learn new systems. Experience working with Shopify and inventory management required.

Independent –Ability to work independently.

Problem Solver – Thrives on fixing inefficiencies and modernizing processes

Process-Driven & Detail-Oriented – Ensures accuracy, meets deadlines, and streamlines operations

Physical Demands - Ability to lift, crouch, stand for long periods of time and carry 40lbs.

Certifications/Licenses - Health Department Food Handler’s License required

Hours, Salary & Benefits

This is a full‑time salaried position as an employee of Foxhollow Farm.

The expected salary of this role is between $40,000 to $48,000 per year

depending on experience.
