Creates a vision for the future of new hire training and successfully moves the site in that direction.
Primary Duties- Lead and empower your training team to ensure consistent quality training across all shifts and departments.
- Establish strong business partnerships with Operations and Safety.
- Align and standardize training across the site.
- Manage workflow in the department.
- Conduct department meetings and projects.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the training program.
- Manage training department personnel to ensure daily requirements are met or exceeded.
- Select appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self‑study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, role play, and computer‑based training.
- Perform hands‑on and classroom (instructor‑led) training, focusing on individual target groups.
- Communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form.
- Write and edit text to produce messages that are clear, concise, and grammatically correct.
- Deliver presentations that effectively engage and communicate.
- Assess training results and retrain when necessary.
- Plan and manage the annual training budget.
- Conduct the training system assessment and develop gap analysis and long‑range plan.
- Evaluate and assess instruction and its impact.
- Ensure training records and databases are maintained properly. Maintain records and prepare statistical reports to evaluate the performance of instructors and monitor the progress of trainees.
- Compile data and analyze past and current year training requirements to budgets and justify funds requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of instructional design and curriculum development.

- Strong people management, coaching and development skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail; highly organized.
- Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, previous experience working with an LMS.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years of experience in training or education.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $69,000.00 to $. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
