Supervisor: Principal

• Perform a variety of custodial duties as required including cleaning floors, walls, fixtures, whiteboards, carpets and restrooms according to established methods and procedures.
• Lock and unlock doors and maintain security of school facility.
• Pick up paper and debris and sweep and clean walkways and entrances.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor cleaning and polishing machines.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Requirements of maintaining school buildings in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
• Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.
• Work independently with little direction.
• Meet schedules and time lines.
• Perform special custodial work upon request of faculty.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED or enrolled and showing progress in GED program.
• Have the ability to develop a positive relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Other duties assigned by the principal.
• Must successfully complete all required forms and applications for employment.
• Render health services as necessary after appropriate training.
