• Translate new or changing regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance the business can use

• Advise on commercial and regulatory aspects of agreements with customers, regulators or industry bodies

• Work alongside product and data teams to shape compliant solutions from the ground up

• Support regulatory engagement and advocacy, helping PEXA communicate clearly and constructively with regulators

• Spot emerging legal or regulatory risks early and help teams navigate them with confidence

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, values collaboration, and takes pride in helping the business move forward safely and pragmatically.

This role exists to ensure PEXA continues to meet its regulatory and contractual obligations while enabling the business to innovate and grow. As Legal Counsel, Regulatory, you’ll act as a trusted adviser, bringing together regulatory insight, commercial judgment and strong stakeholder engagement.

What success looks like in your first 6–12 months:

• You’re a go-to adviser for regulatory and contractual questions across the business

• Product and commercial teams actively involve you early in decision-making

• Regulatory risks are identified early, clearly explained, and practically managed

• You’ve built strong working relationships across Legal, Regulatory Affairs and key external stakeholders

• Your advice is seen as pragmatic, commercially grounded and enabling — not just protective
