AI Engineer, Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled AI and Automation Specialist to join our innovative team. The AI & Automation Specialist is responsible for driving innovation, automation, and intelligent tooling across business operations. This role owns the exploration, development, and deployment of AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across the enterprise. This is an onsite position in Cold Spring, KY
This position focuses on order automation, internal business applications, AI agents, and workflow tooling, while also owning the organization's websites and their integration into Net Suite and downstream systems. The Specialist acts as the bridge between emerging technology and practical business outcomes, ensuring AI initiatives are aligned to real operational needs.
The role works in close collaboration with the Net Suite Administrator on data access and integration points, and with business leaders to identify, pilot, and scale high-impact automation opportunities.
Responsibilities- Lead AI and automation initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools, agents, and internal applications supporting business workflows.
- Own order automation initiatives, including intake, classification, validation, and integration with Net Suite.
- Manage websites and digital platforms, ensuring reliable integration with Net Suite and related systems.
- Explore and pilot emerging AI capabilities, low-code platforms, and automation tools aligned to business needs.
- Partner with business teams to translate operational challenges into scalable automation solutions.
- Collaborate with the Net Suite Administrator to ensure AI solutions are architecturally sound and secure.
- Establish best practices for AI usage, data handling, and responsible deployment.
- Maintain documentation and training materials for AI-enabled tools to support adoption.
- Provide regular updates to the IT Director on innovation pipeline, progress, and realized benefits.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with automation, scripting, or application development.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, APIs, or low-code automation platforms.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias toward practical business outcomes.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience integrating applications with ERP systems is a plus.
- Comfortable operating in experimental, iterative development environment
