The Business Architect role is a critical part of SE Health’s Enterprise Architecture function, responsible for translating business strategy into operational reality. This role provides a structured view of how SE Health operates today and how it must evolve to support organization‑wide modernization and ongoing digital transformation. The Business Architect captures, models, and optimizes clinical and business operations using BPMN 2.0 across legacy systems and modern SaaS platforms, ensuring compliance, scalability, and standardization.
The role enables future‑state workflow design that enhances digital patient care and the workforce experience. By bridging business needs with technology enablement, the Business Architect supports data‑driven decisions, process governance, and change adoption, and plays a central role in integrating new digital platforms across the enterprise while contributing directly to SE Health’s mission of delivering exceptional home and community care.

Job ResponsibilitiesBusiness Process Modelling and Documentation
- Capture and document current state and future state business processes using BPMN 2.0
- Develop end to end workflows, process maps, and diagrams that visualize operations and system interactions.
- Ensure models are accurate, standardized, and reusable across transformation initiatives.
- Model processes involving legacy systems and modern SaaS platforms, ensuring operational clarity and scalability.
- Translate organizational priorities into process architectures and capability structures that enable scalability, digital enablement and improved service delivery
- Connect business processes to enterprise architecture views including people, data, applications and technology to support a unified enterprise model
- Identify capability gaps and recommend process solutions aligned with transformation roadmaps and modernization initiatives
- Partner with senior leaders to provide insights that support prioritization, investment planning and operational readiness
- Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and automation opportunities to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Define performance measures for key processes and build visibility into operational variances impacting quality and client experience.
- Propose improvements that enhance workflow efficiency, reduce manual effort and ensure consistent execution across teams.
- Support business case development for digital and process change investments with data driven insights.
- Work closely with business units, Digital teams, PMO and product owners to gather validated requirements and ensure alignment on operational outcomes.
- Facilitate design workshops, mapping sessions and reviews that drive understanding and agreement across stakeholders at all levels.
- Document and communicate process impacts and transition requirements to support adoption and change management.
- Build strong relationships that promote transparent communication and shared accountability for process success.
- Establish modelling standards, templates, naming conventions and BPMN taxonomy to drive consistency.
