Leading Company in Morgantown, Kentucky is hiring a Plant Human Resources Manager
. If you have Labor Relations Expertise in an Industrial Manufacturing Plant Setting, this could be the Leadership opportunity for you.
Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation. Pay: 100,000 to $125,000 annual plus PTO and benefits package.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor’s Degree is Required in Business, Human Resources, or a Related Degree.
- Minimum five (5) years of previous success as a Human Resources leader in a union manufacturing plant.
- Prior labor relations experience including contract administration and negotiations.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and properly handle competing priorities.
- Knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to understand the operational and financial functions of the business.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to proactively handle issues.
- Ability to influence and lead change.
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyze a complex problem and develop solutions.
- Able to travel as necessary (up to approximately 30-40%).
- As a key member of the management team, provide support and leadership in all areas of HR Management for assigned plant locations.
- Provide supervision and direction for the HR Generalist who supports you.
- Leadership of one to two manufacturing plant locations.
- Directly support union contract negotiations and directly handle labor relations. Implement labor contracts as designed. Facilitate the changes from non union plant to recently unionized plant.
- Be a Champion of plant safety.
- Ensure HR strategies are implemented including recruiting, training and development, HR policy and procedure administration and resolution.
- Provide effective advice and coaching
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders
- Bring a strong HR presence on the Production Floor. Employ an environment where employees are comfortable interfacing with HR.
- Some Travel and Overtime may be required.
