We are looking for a caring and responsible Healthcare Assistant to support residents in their daily care needs. If you are compassionate, patient, and enjoy working with elderly residents, we welcome you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Resident Care:

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and incontinence care with respect and privacy.

Support safe mobility, transfers, and positioning.

Provide medication reminders in accordance with facility policies.

Assist with dining, including feeding support, encouragement, and monitoring for safety.

Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed.

Observe and promptly report any changes in a resident’s physical, cognitive, or emotional condition to the supervising nurse.

Resident Well-being & Engagement:

Foster meaningful relationships through conversation, active listening, and companionship.

Encourage and assist residents to participate in scheduled activities and social events.

Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly and courteously.

Environmental & Safety Duties:

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe resident environment (rooms, common areas).

Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as changing bed linens, tidying rooms, and managing laundry.

Follow all infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene and use of PPE.

Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Document care provided and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
