Solvet is hiring a Phlebotomist to support the Health Services Department at United States Penitentiary (USP) McCreary.
Schedule- 32 hours/week
- Monday–Thursday (excluding federal holidays)
- 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Schedule may adjust based on institutional needs
- Valid certification in KY or TN as a Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Lab Assistant, or EMT
- CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Experience with specimen collection, packaging, and shipment
- Ability to maintain accurate lab records
- Three (3) professional references required
- Perform phlebotomy and lab specimen collection
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and clinic flow
- Enter and scan results into BEMR
- Prepare and transport specimens per BOP procedures
- Support vaccine programs, PPDs, and lab coordination
