Group Home Manager

Program Supervisor, IDD Services

Location: Louisa, KY

Pay: $15.50/hr

Job Type: Full‑time

As Group Home Manager, you will supervise caregivers, ensure high‑quality care, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community setting.

• Facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP).
• Supervise a team of caregivers, managing staffing, training and scheduling.
• Provide direct support including daily activities, meal preparation, medication administration and personal care.
• Assist with total care tasks such as feeding, changing, transferring clients, and manual and mechanical lifting.
• Accompany clients to community outings and provide transportation as needed.
• Manage administrative duties, including program activity planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiver experience in a professional setting.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Full and valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months.
• Reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving duties, including manual and mechanical lifting.
• Availability for on‑call shifts, nights, weekends and 12/16 hour shifts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent for those 20 years of age or younger.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, car registration and auto insurance required.
• Any required licensure or certification by regulatory authority.
• Ability to attend 2 weeks of paid orientation (Mon‑Fri 8:00am‑5:00pm).
