Location: Albany
Position: Auditor (On-site)
Location: Corning Tower, Albany, NY
Contract: 2 years, with possible extension or permanent conversion
Schedule: M-F, 8:30AM–5PM
$25/hr to $30/hr.
Role PurposeSupport senior fiscal leadership in reviewing and managing 600+ public sector contracts. Ensure fiscal integrity, compliance, and accurate financial processing.
Key Duties- Conduct fiscal risk assessments and review financial health of contractors.
- Request and review financial documentation.
- Enter and verify data in fiscal workbooks and NYS Statewide Financial System (SFS).
- Review budgets, claims, and expenditures for compliance.
- Prepare summaries, corrective action requests, and correspondence.
- Monitor claims for timely approval and payment.
- Conduct quality reviews of contract packages.
- Support contract management throughout the fiscal lifecycle.
- Knowledge of accounting systems and GAAP principles.
- Experience with NYS Statewide Financial System (SFS).
- Budget review and transaction processing experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
