We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Russell Springs, Kentucky. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial operations and accounting principles. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including payroll management, reconciliations, and oversight of accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:

- Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.

- Perform treasury functions, including cash management and bank reconciliations.

- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable operations to maintain financial accuracy.

- Prepare and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

- Conduct month-end close procedures and ensure financial reports are completed on time.

- Reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

- Analyze general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and reporting.

- Monitor and review organizational payments to ensure proper authorization and processing.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

- Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

- Strong understanding of general ledger operations and journal entries.

- Demonstrated ability to perform account and bank reconciliations.

- Expertise in managing payroll systems and processes.

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
