Position Summary:

Ensures set-ups and tear downs for events are completed according to specifications in a safe and timely manner.
Salary: $14/hour

Essential Functions:

• Arrives for work on time for each scheduled shift in uniform and ready to work.
• Performs set-up and tear down duties for all events to include (but not limited to) basketball (including set and alignment of basketball floor), volleyball, concerts, family shows and special events, locker rooms, VIP rooms, portable chairs, tables, seating platforms.
• Performs daily operations and general building maintenance during non-event days.
• Works safely, quickly and efficiently to meet all deadlines.
• Maintains a positive, outgoing demeanor.

Required Qualifications:

• Conversion employees must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
• Prior Requisition Conversion or event experience preferred
• Must be able to work overnight hours, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs on a frequent basis
• Ability to stand on feet for up to 8 hours at a time, and to kneel, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with Requisition Conversion tasks
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work safely and complete tasks in a timely manner
