Role Overview And Responsibilities

Summary : Our Process Engineering Intern will be part of the 3‑month summer internship designed to help you build the knowledge, insight and expertise to get ahead of the competition and better prepare you for your career after graduation. You will work side by side with our talented, cross‑functional teams on projects that matter. From day one, you'll be given hands‑on, meaningful work and expected to make a difference!

Internship Dates: May 27th 2026 - August 7th, 2026

Responsibilities
  • The Process Engineer Intern will be an active member of the operations team and will lead projects aimed at improving the group’s current operational challenges. These solutions will have a direct impact on the organization and its success.
  • The Process Engineer Intern will analyze available data to assist in decision making.
  • The Process Engineer Intern will work cross functionally with other groups to organize and implement sustainable processes to advance our day‑to‑day operations.
  • The Process Engineer Intern will learn and leverage lean tools to solve challenging problems.
  • Projects and additional duties will be assigned throughout the assignment based on current business and manufacturing needs.
  • Interns will be expected to work a full‑time schedule of 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Qualifications, Skills And Attributes
  • Completion of Junior year in an accredited college with a major in a STEM Field (Engineering Preferred but not Required).
  • Passion for creating positive change and a desire to engage with the manufacturing team.
  • Creative, data driven approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Organize and complete detailed tasks and project work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands

Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Constantly walk, finger, grasp, feel 90-100% of the time; frequently stoop, reach, push, lift, talk, hear and do repetitive motions 60-90% of the time.

Visual Acuity:
The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.

Work Environment:
The Team member is subject to inside environmental conditions:
Protection from weather conditions but not room temperature changes, there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume in order to be heard above ambient noise level. The Team Member is subjected to atmospheric conditions including odors 90-100% of the time and is required to wear a respirator, safety glasses, gloves and apron. The Team Member is frequently (60-90% of the time) in a small enclosed room to perform their duties.
