This role supports the New Business team by shaping well‑crafted written material for bids and proposals, ensuring submissions are clear, relevant, and aligned with client needs. You'll bring strong writing skills, coordination capability, and a steady approach to managing deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.

• Develop written content for bids by drafting, researching, and tailoring material from contributors
• Prepare CVs, project examples, and other supporting content specific to each submission
• Support the bid process through coordination, editing, review preparation, and version control
• Maintain and develop the bid library, templates, and content resources
• Provide administrative support including reporting, presentations, meeting coordination, and prospect management
• Manage document control, ensuring accurate tracking, filing, and retrieval of information

• Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and audience‑appropriate content
• Previous experience in business or bid writing, ideally in civil engineering, infrastructure, or consulting
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to understand both detail and overall intent
• Confident using Microsoft Word at an advanced level, with an understanding of basic graphic design principles
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment
• Collaborative, organised, adaptable, and motivated to deliver high‑quality work
