Overview
Assistant Professor of Instruction in Social Work, Non-Tenure Track. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position available August 16, 2026. Teaching load is 24 semester hours (or equivalent) per academic year, with services as assigned across campus locations. The position involves teaching undergraduate social work courses and may include field seminars and practicums, in person or via distance/online modalities.

Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate social work courses to support university social work degree programs on the Eastern campus and possibly other external sites within the university system, including field seminar and practicums.
- Mentor students; secure practicum and field sites for social work students; serve as an advisor for student associations.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
- At least two (2) years of direct practice experience in social work post-MS W.
- Current social work license or eligibility for licensure.
- Ph.D. in Social Work.
- Licensed Independent or Clinical Social Worker.
- Evidence of teaching at the undergraduate level.
