Job SummaryThe K–12 Intervention Lead provides district wide leadership for the design, coordination, and implementation of academic intervention programs across all grade levels. This position ensures that a comprehensive, data driven system of support is in place to address student learning needs and accelerate academic growth. The K–12 Intervention Lead analyzes student performance data to identify trends, monitor progress, and guide instructional decision making.
In close collaboration with teachers, school leadership teams, and support staff, this role develops and refines intervention structures, strengthens instructional practices, and ensures interventions are delivered with fidelity and measurable impact. The position is focused on building staff capacity and promoting equitable access to targeted academic support so that all students are positioned for success. & Experience
- Required: Current MN teaching license
- Required: Valid Driver's License
- Required: Deep knowledge of structured literacy and evidence-based intervention
- Required: Experience in designing or leading intervention systems
- Required: Strong data analysis and facilitation skills
- Required: Ability to lead adult teams and build alignment across levels
- Required: Training in LETRS, OL&LA or comparable structured literacy coursework
- Preferred: Experience with READ Act implementation
- Preferred: Experience with Fast Bridge or comparable assessment systems
- Preferred: Experience leading cross-building initiatives
- Preferred: K-12 Reading License
- Thorough understanding of pedagogy and best practices within education.
- Understanding of curriculum and MN English/Language Arts Standards.
- Ability to function cooperatively and collaboratively with colleagues and educators.
- Creative analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to assume responsibility, be well organized, execute initiatives from directives and approved self-initiatives.
- Ability to build open, honest and trustworthy relationships with people of various personality styles and behaviors – internally and externally.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and customer service-based manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
- Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred
