Position Information

Working Title: Cardiovascular Perfusion Part Time Adjunct Faculty

Purpose of Position: NKU is launching the inaugural MS Cardiovascular Perfusion Program for Fall 2022. We seek board-certified perfusionists eager to educate aspiring students.

Primary Responsibilities:

The adjunct faculty will teach one or two courses per semester within their expertise, including course development, assessments, grading, and student evaluations. Responsibilities also include curriculum design and aligning course goals with NKU’s mission and values, emphasizing evidence-based knowledge dissemination.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
• Current certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
• Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, PhD, EdD) or extensive clinical expertise with undergraduate degree
