Job Summary

Maysville Community & Technical College is seeking a committed instructor to teach Medical Assisting on our Licking Valley Campus. Job Duties

The Medical Assisting Program Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality instruction in both classroom and laboratory settings. This role is essential in equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful careers in the medical assisting field.

  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with program objectives and institutional standards
  • Instruct and guide students in both classroom and hands-on laboratory environments
  • Assess student performance, maintain accurate records, and track progress and skill competencies
  • Provide support to enhance student learning, development, and professional preparedness
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree or higher in Medical Assisting (preferred) or a related healthcare field
  • Current certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) preferred
  • Teaching experience in a postsecondary or adult education setting is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to student success and workforce readiness
