Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday – hours can vary each day in accordance with the student’s class schedule, but need to be a minimum of 6 per week with a maximum of 11 hours per week. Working during students class times is strictly prohibited.
Student Employment.
Primary Responsibilities- Copying, printing, scanning documents for faculty and staff
- Answering phone calls
- Running errands on campus such as deliveries, pick‑ups
- Creating/updating basic documents and spreadsheets
- Maintaining departmental calendar
- Restocking of departmental supplies for faculty/staff use
- Mail distribution
- Lifting/moving moderately heavy objects
Note: May be asked to perform other various responsibilities related to the office and for faculty/staff.
QualificationsPreferably someone who can multi‑task, has organizational skills, represents a good rapport among others, and has knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Punctuality, efficiency with allotted time to perform work related tasks, and a positive attitude are highly recommended. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for the semester. Must notify us if you will be (or are currently) working in another department on campus.
The person who fills this position is required to fill out a pre‑employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
