Position Information
THIS POSITION IS FOR Fall 2025.
8-10 hours/week, M-F, not to conflict with your class schedule.
Mandatory training:
Thursday, August 14th, 9am-4pm.
SI Leaders attend assigned classes, take notes, read all assigned materials and prepare activities for SI study review sessions. SI Leaders facilitate three study sessions (50 minutes in length) each week, and collect attendance data for every session. They hold additional mock exam review sessions and maintain minor paperwork flow as needed.
SI Leaders need a desire to help students master difficult material, the ability to model the learning method processes necessary to become content‑proficient, and good verbal and social interaction and communication skills with student peers. Leaders must have an A or B grade in the assigned course. Must be responsible, socially engaging, confidential, and patient. All interested students must submit a student employment application.
Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to undergo a pre‑employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.

- Effective social interaction skills
