Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for: Plans, coordinates, and directs the Conservatory Creative Arts program, ensuring program quality and the safety of youth at all times. Plans, implements, coordinates, and supervises an assigned group of children and youth participating in a Christian Camp. Provides faith-based guidance and role modeling to campers. Provides guidance and role modeling to youth, ensuring a safe and positive experience for campers.
Participates alongside campers during camp worship meetings and times of prayer. Leads devotional activities and faith-based songs with campers and supports the seeker’s ministry.
- Performs ministry functions such as presenting approved devotional material to campers, praying with a camper, or leading in Christian songs, etc.
- Guides the work of dance and performance in helping children and youth to succeed in school by increasing their involvement and motivation, and helping them to set personal goals.
- Provides training and development of campers for dance, public speaking, performance, and service learning.
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Some physical requirements of the Camp Creative Arts Instructor position include endurance, such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required to manipulate equipment and perform various activities.
Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available.
Operate in daily exposure to the sun, heat, and varying environmental conditions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU- Six months of experience teaching creative arts, with the ability to perform and teach lessons in a classroom setting involving more than one student, preferred, OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- CPR and First Aid Certification
