Work Schedule: Weekdays, flexible schedule, 8 am - 5 pm, 20-25 hours per week. Preferred availability Monday and Thursday mornings. Preference given to students available over spring break and summer.
Job DescriptionThe NKU P-12 Pathway Programs Hub is a central office for providing P-12 programs to the Greater Cincinnati region. We introduce P-12 students to opportunities in higher education, emphasizing NKU, through a variety of programs at every age level.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist with field trip logistics and other P-12 programs;
- Assist in designing and revising field trips and other P-12 event activities and logistics;
- Prepare swag for field trips;
- Participate in outreach activities to engage the community;
- Collect and enter data;
- Assist with summer camp day-time programming;
- Prepare Discovery Kits to be mailed to local schools;
- Optional:
Facilitate career-related hands-on sessions.
Preferred Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student in health or education major.
Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills; enjoys interacting with elementary, middle, and high school students.
Interest in P-12 school outreach.
Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
