Are you passionate about discipling the next generation? Do you bring high energy, a contagious enthusiasm, and a heart for leading children, students, and their families to know Jesus?

The Children and Youth Director is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our church’s ministries to children (Kindergarten–5th grade) and youth (6th–12th grade). This includes shaping and casting vision, developing programs, training volunteers, and creating safe, fun, gospel-centered environments where kids and students can grow in their relationship with Christ.

• Oversee and lead all programming and special events for children and students.
• Maintain a safe and secure ministry environment that protects and prioritizes children’s safety.
• Recruit, develop, and equip a team of passionate volunteers and leaders.
• Teach and model biblical truth through age-appropriate discipleship and activities.
• Collaborate with church leadership to define a vision for the children and youth ministry that supports our overall mission.
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to ensure alignment and engagement.
• Explore new methods and technologies to enhance ministry, including social media.
• Participate in church-wide events and Sunday morning worship, engaging adults as needed.
• Manage and steward the ministry budget in consultation with the executive pastor.

• A proven passion for working with children, teens, and their families.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A heart for the Gospel and a life that reflects Christ-like character.
• A clear sense of calling to pastoral ministry and mentoring.
• The ability to work with a team, take initiative, and adapt in a growing ministry environment.
• Alignment with the doctrinal convictions and mission of Dunnville Christian Church.
• A Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

• A lifestyle consistent with biblical leadership (see 1 Tim. 3:1–13; Titus 1:5–9).
• A servant-hearted attitude and willingness to lead by example.
• Active membership and participation in the life of the church.
