We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. This opportunity begins on Apr 13, 2026, and offers a flexible schedule of 10-15 shifts per month, typically including swing shifts from 11am to 11pm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise and adaptability in a fast-paced emergency care environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute conditions
Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document clinical encounters and maintain accurate records
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and deliver care under pressure
Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
Must have at least 3 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine
Active Kentucky license required
Required certifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Board certifications accepted:
Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
