A Hospital and Clinic are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Southeastern Kentucky.

This is a locums medical oncology opportunity at a Level I trauma center using EPIC, seeking up to two board-certified MDs or DOs (adult-only) with medical oncology and hematology training or a combined Hem/Onc fellowship. Coverage begins in April for approximately six months due to a vacancy, with a preference for at least two weeks per month and a KY or compact license.

The role is primarily outpatient Monday Friday with 15-18 patients per day, supported by onsite infusion services and daily NP coverage. Call is every other week (Mon-Thurs), phone triage only with minimal volume, and includes hospital rounding before or after clinic during call weeks; weekend call is optional. BLS or ACLS and DEA are required, and privileging takes 90-120 days.
