A hospital is seeking an adult cardiac anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Kentucky.

This need is for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist with a required cardiac fellowship and TEE certification to provide vacation coverage. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from roughly 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a negotiable 1:2 beeper call rotation. The practice uses Epic and handles only cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases, mostly offpump. The role is primarily supervisory, overseeing CRNAs within a 16OR department staffed by 7 physicians and 28 CRNAs.
