Park Desk Clerk is the first person guests will talk with at General Butler State Resort Park, located in Carrollton, KY. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and focused on delivering legendary service to thousands of guests year-round.
DescriptionGeneral Butler State Resort Park, located in Carrollton, KY, provides peace and tranquility while only minutes from the city. General Butler offers guests a 53-room lodge, 23 cottages, 111-site campground, full-service restaurant, mini golf, boat dock, shelters, trails, historic Butler-Turpin House, conference center, and playgrounds.
Qualifications and primary duties include:- Experience with front line guest interaction via telephone, email, and in person.
- Ability to greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Ability to learn the offerings of the park and surrounding area and relate this knowledge to answer guests’ inquiries intelligently and thoroughly.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Maintains excellent grooming standards.
- Willing to work a variety of shifts or hours based on guest needs.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Ability to work independently or in teams.
- Experience using, or ability to learn a computer-based reservation system.
