This position is responsible for: Prepare, plan, and operate audio/visual equipment for meetings, events, classes, and seminars at the Salvation Army camps. Ensure that camp activities are recorded for use in Salvation Army publications. Captures video/pictures for Salvation Army publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates audiovisual equipment for various camp programs, including worship services and concerts.
- Operates and installs audio/visual equipment.
- Instructs camp employees in the selection, use, and design of audiovisual materials, and assists them in preparing instructional materials and rehearsing presentations.
Physical Requirements and
Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Some physical requirements of the Camp Audio/Visual Specialist position could be endurance including climbing, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate audio/visual equipment and activities are required.
Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available. Operate with daily exposure to the sun and heat and varying environmental conditions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU- Two years’ experience in video production preferred, OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
