This position is responsible for: Assists in serving meals; cleans the kitchen and dining area; maintains inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Ensures the cleanliness of the tables, chairs, condiment holders, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, coffee makers, stoves, and ovens.
- Prepares pre-meal assignments given by the Camp Dining Hall Supervisor
- Serves food as directed by the Camp Dining Hall Supervisor.
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to observe children and youth and ensure their safety.
Some physical requirements of the Camp Dining Room Attendant position include endurance, which involves activities such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required to manipulate dining room equipment and perform various activities.
Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program at the available facility.
Operate in daily exposure to the sun, heat, and varying environmental conditions.

What We Are Looking For in You- Six months of experience working in a kitchen preferred, OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- CPR and First Aid Certification
