Working Title Student Assistant

Work ScheduleApproximately 20 hours/week. Between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Hours to be arranged based upon course schedule.
Job DescriptionThis position provides support to the Haile/US Bank College of Business, Center for Student Excellence and occasionally to the Office of the Dean.
Primary Responsibilities- Greet students, faculty, staff, and community members who visit the office
- Answer multi-line telephone
- Learn and assist with basic functions in university software system
- Layout and design of promotional materials for college events
- Assist with content management for social media
- Assist with Center and College events
- File, copy and type
- Route mail
- Run errands on campus
- Database entry
- Assist with special projects
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to multitask
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Experience with event planning and promotions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- A positive attitude
- Good academic standing
- GPA 2.5 or above
- Customer service orientation
- Strong desire to learn and improve
