Records Management Clerk for our client in Edmonton, AB
Job Title:Records Management Clerk
Job Location:Edmonton, AB
Job Type:Contract
Access to Information Request Support- Coordinate day to day processing activities for access to records held by the Department in compliance with the statutory duties and in support of the principles objectives promoted by the ATIA.
- Clarifying the request, consulting with department staff and others where required in accordance with policies and procedures and best practices in processing access requests, identifying issues and preparing recommendations as required.
- Coordinate the tasks and track milestones in processing ATI requests and provide consultation with stakeholders as required.
- Guide and support records management practices within MHA.
- Support the office in preparing summaries and chronologies as needed and liaise with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner as required during official formal investigations and reviews.
- High School Diploma/GED (Yes or No).
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group (Yes or No).
- Strong attention to detail and computer skills. (Yes or No).
- The ability to adapt (Yes or No).
- The ability to organize files, documents, etc (Yes or No).
- Experience coordinating routine activities related to ATIA/ATIP/FOIP requests (2 Years).
- Experience with interpretation and application of records retention and disposition schedules (2 Years).
- Experience with Records Management/Document Management using Sharepoint (2 Years).
- Experience with records management 2 Years).
- Experience working with the government (2 Years).
