Overview
Accounts Receivable Specialist job at Genuine Search Group. Canada. Our client, a NYC-based real estate investment firm, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities- Prepare tenant billing
- Post escalations, utilities, work orders, late fees, and other pass thru billings to tenants
- Process and post tenant receipts daily
- Monitor new residential leases, manage move ins and move outs
- Prepare security deposit accounting
- Issue security deposit refunds
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable account as part of month end close process
- Enter commercial leases and lease amendments into accounting software
- Manage tenant receivable balances and collect any outstanding arrears
- Prepare and bill real estate tax recoveries
- Prepare annual operating escalations reconciliation
- Reconcile lockbox bank accounts monthly
- Respond to tenants, management and investors questions and concerns
- 2-3+ years of experience with Accounts Receivable in the real estate industry (preferably residential)
- Yardi experience is required
