Position: Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily

Position Description

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver in Kent, WA. The role is a home daily route with no weekends, using a 53’ dry van with pallet jack and a Dat Cab tractor.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 6:30 am‑4:30 pm. Pay:
Avg. $1,579 per week (Hourly $33.25, 40+ hours per week), Paid Training, and paid personal time off starts Day 1.

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check (DRT, drug/alcohol history for last 3 years)
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience:
    • 9 months within past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years within last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years within last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
  • Some positions may require additional screening (employment/education verification, motor‑vehicle records, background, badging, customer requirements)
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer
  • Performs other duties as assigned
